The FRIENDS meetings are usually held monthly on the 3rd Thursday at 5:30pm at the Eagle Nest State Park Visitor Center, 42 Marina Way, Eagle Nest, NM 87718. Please check the schedule below for the next meeting. All are welcome!

At the January Meeting of Friends of Eagle Nest Lake and Cimarron Canyon State Parks it was decided to meet as only needed to plan for events or other activities. Therefore, the next meeting is expected to be on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 to begin planning for the Children's Fishing Derby on May 9, 2026 and the Spring clean up prior to the Fishing Derby.

VILLAGE OF EAGLE NEST

The Village of Eagle Nest is located in the northern end of the Moreno Valley and is known as "The Gateway to the Enchanted Circle". Eagle Nest has been known as a recreation, scenic and anglers paradise since the 1930's. The Eagle Nest Visitor Center & Museum is located immediately North of Eagle Nest Lake on US64.
